* Designed & built basic puzzles
* Programmed very basic player interaction
* Narrative design
* Wrote dialogue
* Modelled the level and most assets using pro-builder
The level was conceived in the early units of my first year Game Design course at AIE.
The design was created in the Fundamentals of Level Design unit, and expanded upon in the narrative design, and prototyping units in which I refined the level, worked to add a layer of environmental storytelling, and began implementing basic player interaction via C#.
Initial Design for the level included finding references for the kind of level I wanted and drawing it on grid paper before redesigning it and adapting it in unity.
I expanded the level a little more than I should have in the later redesign to include more environmental storytelling, and more interaction than what had been conceptualised.
The environmental storytelling was a positive change, but perhaps rescoping it to a level more in range with what was originally designed would have allowed more time for implementing more interaction.
This level is currently being remade. The experience from all the other things I have done should make this level a hundred times better.
